These Creator Terms govern the creation, management, and monetization of subscription plans on Valens. By creating a subscription plan, you agree to these terms together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to offer digital content and subscription-based services in your jurisdiction. You act as an independent creator. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship with Valens.
Brazilian creators: this minimum age requirement, and Valens' broader content and identity-verification safeguards, are maintained consistent with the child and adolescent protection principles established under Brazil's Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA, Lei nº 8.069/1990).
Creators may offer subscribers access to digital content, private communities, and participation-based experiences. Valens uses open, flexible subscription pricing similar to OnlyFans or Patreon — you may set your monthly subscription price up to a maximum of $1,000.00 per month per subscriber, depending on your local currency, language, and fair rate applicable to your region. All plans are subject to review, approval, limitation, or removal by Valens at its sole discretion.
By enabling a subscription plan, you authorize Valens to charge applicable platform fees and deduct payout processing fees.
Not a security: your Fan Subscription channel, subscriber revenue, and any related metrics (including Dralens tier or Credibility Score) are not securities, investment contracts, or financial instruments. Valens is not registered with, and does not hold itself out as registered with, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and nothing in these Creator Terms is intended as an offer or sale of securities under the Securities Act of 1933 or the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
Earnings displayed represent gross subscriber payments minus applicable platform and processing fees. Payouts require successful KYC (personal) or KYB (business) verification. You are solely responsible for reporting income and paying all applicable taxes. Valens does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.
You are solely responsible for all content offered to subscribers. All content must comply with Valens Community Guidelines and applicable law. Prohibited content includes illegal, misleading, abusive, fraudulent, or manipulative material, and content that exploits, abuses, or endangers minors. For Brazilian creators and content involving Brazilian users, this prohibition is additionally governed by the Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA, Lei nº 8.069/1990).
Valens may restrict, suspend, or disable monetization features, freeze or reverse payouts, remove content, or terminate accounts to comply with platform policies, payment processor requirements, or applicable law, without prior notice where permitted.
Payments and payouts are processed by authorized third-party providers including Stripe, Apple, and Google. Valens does not store full payment credentials, process cryptocurrency, or custody funds.
Valens is not a merchant, seller, or distributor. All commercial activity occurs between creators, users, and third-party providers. Valens is not responsible for product delivery, disputes, or fulfillment.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, and are subject to other applicable laws in the jurisdictions where Valens operates, including U.S. federal law (including securities laws administered by the SEC), Brazilian law (including the Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente), and applicable EU/UK law.
